Java jazz on the Move, Nairobi Trio feat Jonas Julio and Morning Smile :)

The Interactive One, yeaaah! NairobiTrio and Jonas

It is such an honor for Morning Smile ( my band), as a welcoming band for Paramadina’s event and New Zealand’s Embassy: Java Jazz on The move on March, 3^rd 2011 at Taman Peradaban Universitas Paramadina.

What should I say? They are really great performers. 

Entertaining, 

interactive with the audience, 

nice, cooperative,

and really really down to earth! Nairobi Trio, is a professional jazz band that become a famous band until now. Their songs are really rich, soulful, and ear catchy. Jonas jolio, a great guitarist jazz, also performing this day. He is an Indonesian who study in Auckland University, taking jazz major. So, no doubt, his skill is really amazing.!At the first sight, I tought that he was a foreigner. But then again, I was rethinking, his bahasa is really well. Even when he say “terimakasih” :P  A night before Nairobi Trio feat Jonas Julio perform, I google it and found their name. I just said : wow! Shintia, u should be very lucky to become a welcoming band with the Morning Smile in this great event and also great musician.

For the info, Morning Smile bring 3 songs : bersamamu (our original song), paramore (only exception), and lady gaga (telephone). What made me fly to the moon is, the New Zealand embassy said that we are great performers! Pak Wija and pak Bima, as the deputy rectors also give a warm respond about our performance. Alhamdulillah and innalilahiwainnailaihirojiun in the same time. For Morning Smile, we should do better than this, practice more, learn more, more creative, and don’t ever easily to feel satisfied.

Babies smile ( my second family : Mimin, bundo, sari,mba adhis,reni..yeaaaah we are full team), give the biggest support. Iffo also for the recording  . My choir’s team : Ardhie,niken,mayang.. my friend : mika and galih, for spending your time ( I knew that u guys were very busy with ur activity..), dea : my sister, that cannot attend this event ( my bad L cannot make it happen for ur birthday’s surprise)..T-Ta’s friend : ka ayu, ema. Hekso and Tya that seat in the front row. Hangga for the suggestion of my wardrobe. Really help me a lot. And yes, for my beautiful miss indonesia 2008, Karina ,for coming to the show.. Wise, such a good MC with ka Margarete. Irvin and Na, that beautiful yet fun sistaaa.. hahaha, you're both not watching the show, but the "HEELS" show . hehehe..

This is great, really great. We hope that Morning Smile can perform in the next Java Jazz on the move and also Java Jazz Festival! Amin.  Maybe, for the first, we can do some gigs in New Zealand! LOL ;D
