I found a place full of

Hopes, tossed around

Like fireflies on summer evening

And dancing fallen stars like

Fourth if July fireworks

And I found Silence

Sitting on the corner of the wall

Separating dreams from reality

I found all my yearning

Buried in the backyard

Of that wall

And when Silence,

Smirked at me, that’s the moment

I knew I didn't belong here
